1. To download a ProtoShare design, simply right-click on the corresponding filename in the Google Drive file list, and choose Download. Note that each design file represents a single version of a ProtoShare design. Design filenames begin with the design name and have a “.html” extension.

2. ProtoShare design files are distinguished in Google Drive using a special Mime Type of “application/x-protoshare”. This is done solely to improve the functionality of the ProtoShare for Google Drive add-on. The content of ProtoShare design files is pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript and can thus be hosted on any standard web server for viewing and sharing outside of Google Drive. The files can also be opened directly from your computer, but an Internet connection is still required so that additional support files can be loaded.
